Happy Thanksgiving and on to Christmas!

We had a marvelous holiday; we spread it out over two days so we could all see each other safely and that was good.  We ate together, walked the fields, played with the animals, and did some board games; it was all good and we are thankful to the good Lord for His blessings and safety for us this year.

We are thankful for all those of you who have been buying our books and reading them and leaving reviews-thank you so much for all the encouragement you have sent me this year.  We managed to get 13 books out this year, and that’s a record for us.  We have 5 in the pipeline for after Christmas, another mystery, another omnibus, 3 new books in a sci-fi series, and another devotional.  Next year will be busy.

There is a marvelous little song going around now based on two verses out of the book of Psalms called I would have Lost Heart.  You can find it on Youtube-they do a background of pines in the snow, and it is a comforting thing to watch and memorize, and it does stick with you.  The words have so much meaning for us at this time of the year.

I would have lost heart unless I had believed, that I would see the goodness of the lord, in the land of the living.  Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27, 13-14).  In this time when people are dying of Covid at a rate, last I heard of 50 an hour, we need to have courage as we do what we can to help each other.

Have courage, wear masks around each other, wash your hands, and read books-let your mind soar away from the stress and hurt in the safety of your home.   Put off trips you don’t need to make, stay out of crowds; we love you all and hope to hear from you soon.    You can leave me a message here or on my pm on my FB page. God bless.

And don’t forget-I can now safely post Christmas jokes-have a look!
