Fall has Fallen Finally!
Last week I told you Fawn’s house had been hit by a car; and I think we both agreed it’s pretty hard to not see a house when driving unless you are six shades to the wind or texting, in which case you couldn’t see a circus elephant in the road. No one was hurt, but though you’d enjoy the aftermath pics before the guys fixed the steps.
The weather is still warm during the day, but is dropping at night. I have about half of my houseplants in now. Due to the drought, the leaves are not turning color, they wither and die, brown and crunchy on the yard. It’s depressing. Dan is putting the garden to bed, and the great-grandkids just went home to mom’s so I’m trying to fit in this note to you between making bread and lunch, cleaning food for tomorrow, and writing chores.
