Happy, Happy New Year and a Grand Hogmanay!

And the snow is back, but not stopping the general melee of work.

My Hogmanay was spent cleaning the house after Christmas, and I have no idea how many bags of trash I sent out for processing as recycling or garbage.  However, after judiciously rearranging furniture, the house feels much happier.  I was never one for dust and such.  The next huge job is my files, which are in sad disarray and cannot stay that way if I am to get the taxes done this year.

Ladybear’s puppies’ eyes are open, and they’ve started eating on their own.  The CPW (cutest preschooler in my world) is enamored with them. We visited a dog breeder I know.  I want to get Dan a larger dog. He likes the poms, but they are all bonded to me, the one who takes care of them, and they simply don’t pay him much mind. The breeder has Irish retrievers; they are beautiful dogs.  We chose a red female.  I’m going to gift her to Dan mid-month. It’s a moderately large dog, around 80 pounds full-grown; quite the difference between her and a Pomeranian.  She will look like this as an adult, but with a slightly redder color.

We went over our budgets and plans for next year, which include many books! I want to take some short trips in the RV this year to simply get away from the crazy and write.

I hope your plans for the New Year include happiness and good goals; things you can do. It’s great to aspire to be better than you are, but small chunks of change work better than swallowing boulders.  Personally, I want to include more daily exercise. Perhaps more patience, and I say this as I just finished straightening up the living room from the great-grandkids for the fifth time today.  Do you have habits you want to change or start?  Then our first free book is just exactly what you need!

I have two specials coming up I want to tell you about:  I know you’ll like them.  Get ready to download, lean back, and make those resolutions work this year!

January 2-6  Free Amazon download, just in time to break your chains; Ninety Days to the God Habit is our first January special just for you.  Free is such a good way to start the New Year, wouldn’t you say? Do you want to start your new year making life changes that stick?

Stop apologizing to God for being too busy—start living a life that keeps Him at the center. If chaos has stolen your peace, this 90-day guide will show you the way back to divine strength and renewal. Break the cycle of spiritual mediocrity and rediscover the joy of living fully in God’s grace. In just 90 days, transform your faith from a forgotten obligation to an unstoppable passion.

January 4-11 Why Are You Angry at God?  A Conversation About Pain

It is a 99-cent download on Amazon for just one week. For all those for whom life seems too hard, and who find that the pain of it is starting to overwhelm, I wrote this book. Pain and grief are real, but so is hope. Quit making God a scapegoat for your pain. He didn’t cause it; He wants your good.  Meet the real shadow behind your misery and get him out of your life. Joy is as real as pain, and much easier to live with; learn the why, and pain becomes easier to bear, you find your balance, and you can do it today. You need this book in the new year to give you the tools to face sorrow and disappointment when they come.

And yes, I know I overlapped them a little; it doesn’t mean you can’t have both, and each still offers a free book, as always. Happy New Year!  God bless!

And yes, I know I overlapped them a little; it doesn’t mean you can’t have both and each offer a free book besides, as always. Happy New Year!  God bless!
