What a wild day this was! We had the great granddaughters here, and prepped the house for the weekend, and ran out individually on shopping errands, got crushed by crowds, and now am late getting this message out. The puppies are doing well; we are settled in for winter, and just in time. We had a bad storm about 10 days ago, and another is coming in tomorrow. One pundit said there is a good chance of a blizzard sometime before February. We haven’t had one here in ages; in fact, I think the last one was in 1978.

We’ve been getting lots of Christmas cards, and I’m tickled with that. The entire front room door is covered in them now. I think it may be a family record.
