Nature’s Blanket has Arrived and More is on it’s Way

Snow! Last night two inches and still falling for the next 4 days!

According to the weather folks, we’ve had two inches and could get up to 8 inches which is the most we’ve had in years.

But indoors, it’s warm, cozy and I have so much to do. I just wanted to get this note out to you to let your know we’re all doing fine. Hope you had a great New Year’s. I spent mine doing budgeting, which is pretty much normal and watching the CBW make a shambles of the house while I did it. If I play with her, the house doesn’t get done, if I work on my work, the house gets wrecked anyway. The life of a great-grandma is scattered one. At any rate, I am now putting all the financial drawers back in order for the big tax prep mess that stares in couple weeks here.

It appears the SS Fairness act will be signed the 6th. I hope that clears up the mess that has been on the shoulders of many people since it’s poorly put together inception. It was originally supposed to make SS last many more years, but then they kept borrowing for it and it never made it more viable. And wouldn’t you think if something didn’t work, it would be replaced?

We have an incubator full of button quail eggs; my orchids are doing well, I’ve been growing new asparagus for my asparagus bed, and cleaning up form the holidays. I’ve started a couple new books that are going to be featured in blind dat book boxes I’ll be offering on y website and on etsy in a couple weeks. Not saying much, other than they will have a couple autographed books, bling and gifts, and be worth far more than they cost. I’ll keep you attuned. Doesn’t everyone like grab bags?

Snowy days are a great time for naps…

And in the meantime, have a great week, keep up those resolutions and I hope one of them is to review some of my books! I enjoy reading what you say.

Now heading off for office work on the way to writing. Take care-I’ll post the specials shortly. Be careful out there. We’re at a level one emergency already, and I suspect with the wind that’s being predicted, we could have a blizzard pop in at some point. Blessings.
