We still have lots of heat and humidity, but the poison ivy is turning red, the leaves are turning brown; the garden is trying to go into autumn mode, and we’re six weeks early? I am not sure what will turn this around, if anything, but I wish someone would figure it out.
This week, I’ve been preparing for the birthday season. Around here, most birthdays are in the fall, starting with Tbear. It makes for a lot of parties, cakes, gifts, and gatherings, which we all love; sort of like Christmas, but smaller and spread over three months. Do you have any birthday traditions?
Baby Violet has been crowned the Cutest Preschooler in Our World —that’s a promotion. She has relinquished her title to Penelope, the Cutest Baby in Our World. When you hear me referring to the CPW and the CBW, you are now part of the inner circle who understand what I mean.
