Thank God for Angels and Big Ears

The CBW says it’s a good time to hide in the ball pit!

A friend of mine, in the aftermath of the Trump shooting, remarked :Thank the Good Lord Mr. Trump has big ears. I guess I looked puzzled, because she went on to explain her theory was that in the sniper’s scope, the edge of the presidents ear would have been blown up, he thought it was his cheek and he fired, thus missing the entire head.

I went on to explain my theory which is Trumps guardian angel had him look back at those graphs on the screen at just the right time for the sniper to do little more than anoint his right ear with blood, as in the OL – right ear, right thumb, and you were dedicated for special servicer as – it’s in Leviticus. Anyway, I’m very glad he missed and we were not regaled with video after video of his head blowing to pieces on live TV for days, and you know they would have milked that story for all it was worth. We narrowly avoided a civil war at that point, because had he not gotten back up, the good old boys in this country would have gotten their hunting rifles and gone out in search of anyone they thought might be involved.

Our CBW doesn’t like scary things and I can’t say I’m too fond of them either.

And this morning, after the last session of the RNC, I saw someone
accusing Mr. Trump of falling asleep.  Since he had closed his eyes, bowed his head and folded his hands in reverence during Mr. Graham’s prayer, I think it speaks volumes that they can’t tell the difference between sleep and prayer.

OK, enough ranting; I need to remember my own blessings, the puppies are fine, the mama dog is getting well, we’re harvesting and preserving, I’m getting more books written and I shall shortly be leaving for a convention to teach. But before I head off to clean house and think up a plot (housecleaning is a very therapeutic way to decide who’s going to get included this time) I need to let you in on something, a special.
