You couldn’t tell it from the flowers, but Ohio nearly got blown away last night.
Can you believe it? Just in time for me to send this update, we had tornados run across Ohio again. At least 3 are dead in Ohio, millions in damages, entire villages wiped out, it was terrible. Many are still without power as I write this, and many injured. And that was just in Ohio. It put me a little behind as we watched storm news and huddled in an inside room.
And of course, on a far lesser degree of pain, my vacuum cleaner died and I had to run up and buy a new one. I mean it went out in a hail of glory: sparks, smoke, and a poof of dust. Just one more thing to add to a busy day, and the store crowded enough it put me more behind. (sigh) I need to go back to perp for the weekend but I wanted to get this out to you and be certain you’re all safe? And don’t forget your 99 cent downloads that follow this.

For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery downstairs.
Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.
Irving Benson and Jessie Carter were married on October 24 in the church. So ends a friendship that began in their school days.
At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be “What Is Hell?” Come early and listen to our choir practice.
