But Happy St. Patrick’s Day anyhow!

A little humor to start this off…
A police officer attempts to stop a car for speeding and the guy gradually increases his speed until he’s topping 100 mph. The man eventually realizes he can’t escape and finally pulls over. The cop approaches the car and says, “It’s been a long day and my shift is almost over, so if you can give me a good excuse for your behavior, I’ll let you go.” The guy thinks for a few seconds and then says, “My wife ran away with a cop about a week ago. I thought you might be that officer bringing her back!

Have in common? They were all born today; St. Patrick’s Day.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

It is a cold, wet, rainy day today: I’m inside prepping for the weekend, relaxing after the crazy yesterday which included burying an alpaca early in the morning and buying a new herdsire alpaca in the late afternoon! Our poms are actively whelping-8 puppies so far. We have had snow, rain and sunny weather in the last week, our poor spring flowers don’t know whether to bloom or die in the attempt. The bees in both hives made it through the winter, which is very good. Most of the beekeepers are experiencing a 35% die off over winter.

Now let’s head to our other news:
My Wanderers, Thank you so much for downloading The Infant Conspiracy last week, and as some of you have noticed, we try to do some special for you each week. This week, it’s a 99 cent special on For the Love of a Child.

Did I remember to let you know that the first three episodes of PsyComs are out on Vella? They are! And the first three are free to read and decide if you want to go on before making the commitment to pay ten or fifteen cents or so a chapter to read the rest as they download. What is PsyCom about? I am so glad you asked!
Maletha Evans knew one thing for certain; the military was trying to steal her children, and she was not going to allow them to succeed. If you like paranormal, mental telepathy, wildly gifted kids, really awful bad guys, and action, you are going to love this book. Read the first three chapters on vella for free at
The CBW has learned to say Love u and reach up for a hug. It’s very endearing. She’s also learned to pull out all the pots from under the sink-not so endearing. And the poms are pupping-here’s the first litter and they are doing fine.

Just completed book 2 of Hidden America: it starts with Bigfoot, who are not ravening beasts. They got really bad press. I tend to agree with the first nations people on what they’re really like and if you want to find out what that is, you are going to have to read it. If you like vella on Amazon, you can read it right now and the first 3 episodes are free; after that, each chapter costs you about a dime to a quarter depending on the length of the episode in vella tokens. You can read it now, or read it when it’s in book form come April. Here’s the vella link and you can at least see the cover.
And now time to head off to the wild blue barnyard and make friends with the new guy, feed the hens and gather the eggs and make supper. You have a great time reading today in the rain…its a cozy day to do it. I plan on doing that myself soon.
