Surprise! The Sun Can Still Shine!

And I got to go outside after three days of staying inside!

Today was gorgeous out; the rain had cleared, the sky was blue, the bees were humming in the flowers which seemed to be all over! We went for a nice walk out and about; there was very little storm damage, mostly just downed tree limbs and the like. I made plans for the next few days of nice weather and then realized I am no longer as young as my head seems to think I am. I will putter for an hour at a time from one flower bed to another until it gets done. Someone told me that you don’t realize how age creeps up on you until you realize your head still thinks you are 20 but your body is saying slow it down. I hate the slow it down.

What did you think of the eclipse? We waited out back field for it to go to totality and it was amazing. It only lasted abut 90 seconds but it was pretty, and since it won’t be around these parts again until 2099, the only chance we had to experience it. I am not sorry we did.

Dan and I will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary May 8, and I’d appreciate if you had any ideas of what might be appropriate for two old folks who hang on to each other as they wander about. We are thinking maybe something simple like a bed and breakfast, perhaps a bit of shopping in Amish country. We’d like to build a good memory.

And to remind you of this week’s freebie-yes, another free book just for you. I really appreciate my readers!

From April 15 til the 19th, our newest book is FREE!  In God I Trust combines in one volume  the first three devotionals Traveler has written, Big God, Little Me, Lenten Stories for God’s Little Children,  and His Path is Mine. If you want to pull closer to our Creator this book of daily devotionals will make you think, smile, sometimes tear up, but always, always point you back to the Savior whose life was given for us. Find the peace inside that His love brings in its wake.  This will enable you to walk the path from here to His home, grow in His gifts and trust in His Word.

Thank you for downloading it and let me know what you think! I love to read your comments and reviews. Have a grand week!
